Christmas and Holiday Steelheading

The fishing had been pretty solid on all the Ohio creeks and rivers for the last few weeks. With the unseasonably warm up after Christmas the ground thawed and cause mud to dirty up the rivers. With the rivers already on the drop look for the middle of next week when the streams clear and become fishable again. Patterns that must be fished during the winter season are all colors of egg patterns in larger sizes, wooly buggers in all colors and sizes, and stone flies.
